Overview
The Volkswagen Beetle S (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 04/18/2008. Last redesigned in 2006, the 2008 Volkswagen Beetle and Beetle convertible see only minor changes for this year. Available in S and SE trim variants, the S now features standard 16-inch and the SE 17-inch wheels. The New Beetle is powered by a 2.5L 150hp engine and is available with a manual or automatic transmission (automatic is standard on the SE). Other minor changes consist of the deletion of floormats as standard, along with leather seats and fog lights as options. Updated safety features include temporary spare tire and tire pressure monitoring system, as well as stability and traction control. Heated seats and windshield washer nozzles are included in the optional Cold Weather Package on the Beetle S. The Volkswagen Beetle S (Auto) saw minor changes in 2006, and is expected to be redesigned in 2010.
