Overview
The Volkswagen Eos VR6 last had a manufacturer update on 04/18/2008. For 2008, the Volkswagen Eos is available in six models, and as with the Passat, trim names have been changed. This year, the line-up includes Komfort, Lux, Turbo and VR6 variations. Despite the naming, the 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder engine is standard on all but the VR6 model, which comes with a 250hp 3.2L V6. All Eos models feature, power 12-way driver seat, leather trim (steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake), 16-inch wheels, stability and traction control, along with head thorax airbags (which must deploy from the front seats). A wind deflector is now standard as well. The Lux trim offers upgrades to 17-inch wheels and the VR6 features standard 18-inch wheels. Lux and VR6 models also make standard a rear park distance control feature. The Volkswagen Eos VR6 was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
