Overview

The Dodge Caliber SXT last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. The 2008 Dodge Caliber is available in four trims: Base (in FWD and 4WD), SXT, SE, and SRT4. Engine choices for the Caliber include a 172 horsepower 2.4L in-line four-cylinder engine, a 148-horsepower 1.8L in-line four-cylinder engine, 158 horsepower 2.0L in-line four-cylinder engine, and a turbo charged version of the 2.4L engine. The Base, SXT, and SE engines are mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission. The SRT4 equipped with the turbo charged 2.4L engine is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. Optional equipment includes a six-disc radio with cassette and MP3 CD play capability, Chill Zone, SIRIUS satellite radio, and a Protection Group that includes front and side air deflector, door entry guards, and rear mud guards. The Dodge Caliber SXT was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
