Overview

The Chrysler PT Cruiser last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. The PT Cruiser returns for 2008 available in four-door wagon and two-door convertible bodystyles. The wagons are available in Base, Touring, and Limited trims, while the convertible is available in a single Base trim. Engine choices for the PT Cruiser include a 150 horsepower 2.4L in-line four-cylinder engine and a turbo charged version of the same 2.4L engine. The engines are mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include all power conveniences, air conditioning, keyless remote entry, and an AM/FM radio with CD player and changer. Vehicle information center, tinted glass, and moonroof are standard on the Touring and Limited models. Optional equipment on the Limited includes Sound Group II Package and UConnect communication system. The Chrysler PT Cruiser saw minor changes in 2006, and is scheduled to be retired in 2008.
