Overview
The Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Extended Cab LT 4WD SRW last had a manufacturer update on 04/11/2008. After being redesigned last year, Chevrolet's full-size truck enters 2008 with only minor changes. The Chevy Silverado 3500 HD is available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: Regular Cab, Extended Cab, or Crew Cab bodystyles, short or long bed lengths, three trims levels: Work Truck, LT, and LTZ, and 2WD or 4WD drivetrain configurations. The Silverado is built on GM's newer full-size truck. Choices of engines include a new 353 horsepower Gen IV Vortec 6.0L V8 and a Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 that generates 365 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. All engine choices are mated to an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission. The Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Extended Cab LT 4WD SRW was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
