Overview

For 2008 the Volvo S40 is available in both 2.4i and T5 versions. New for this year, the 2.4 features an updated fascia, grille, spoiler, lower air intake and more prominent manufacturer logo branding. Other exterior enhancements include refreshed headlights and tail lamps, standard 16-inch "Cursa" wheels, color-keyed rear bumper, door sill and side moldings. In the interior, the vehicles feature reworked air vents, a repositioned clock (to the center information display), revamped center stack and larger front map pockets. The T5 sees a slight increase in horsepower to 227 hp and also features redesigned tailpipes, standard high performance sound system, and updated instrument cluster.
