Overview
The Pontiac G5 last had a manufacturer update on 05/28/2008. Pontiac's subcompact coupe enters 2008 with several revisions. Again available in base and GT, the G5 adds numerous standard features, including head curtain side impact airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, and XM satellite radio. The GT also adds stability control and the OnStar communications system to its list of standard equipment. Rounding off the list of changes for this year is the addition of three new exterior colors: Midnight Blue, Nitrous Blue, and Dark Slate. The G5 base is powered by a 2.2L I-4 engine, while the GT comes equipped with a 2.4L I-4 engine boasting 171 horsepower. Other GT model upgrades include ABS brakes, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated seats, and a limited leather trimmed interior. The Pontiac G5 was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
