Overview

The Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas last had a manufacturer update on 06/18/2007. The Jaguar XJ returns for 2008 offered in five trims: XJ8, XJ8L, Vanden Plas, XJR, and Super V8. The XJ8, XJ8 L, and Vanden Plas feature a 4.2L 300-hp V8 engine where as the XJR and Super V8 are powered with a supercharged version of the 4.2L V8 engine producing 400-hp. All engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities include keyless remote entry, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, moonroof, heated mirrors, heated seats, and memory settings for outside mirrors, pedals and seats. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, trunk entrapment release, and rear parking sensors. Three colors have been added to the color palette: Grey Vapor, Green Botanical, and Emerald Fire. The Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas was last redesigned in 2004, with minor changes expected again in 2011.
