Overview

The Honda Element LX 2WD (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 07/17/2008. The 2008 Honda Element is available in three trims: LX and EX in 2WD or 4WD configurations and SC 2WD. All models are equipped with a 166 hp 2.4L VTEC four cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include all power conveniences, keyless remote entry, tailgate release, and privacy glass. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, dual front, front head curtain, and front side impact airbags. The sporty SC trim adds a unique grille, steering wheel with touch controls, 18-inch alloy wheels, exclusive spring and damper tuning (30 percent firmer), a lowered ride height (approximately 0.7 inches) and increased rear stabilizer bar size. It is also available in a (exclusive to its trim) new exterior color; Royal Blue Pearl. The Honda Element LX 2WD (Manual) was introduced in 2003 and a redesign is expected in 2010.
