Overview
The Buick Lucerne CXS last had a manufacturer update on 05/28/2008. Buick's large sedan enters 2008 available in several trims: CX, CXL, CX Special Edition, CXL Special Edition, CXS, and the new Super. The Lucerne CX and CXL trims are powered by a 197-hp 3.8L V6 engine, while the CXS boasts a 4.6L V8 engine producing 275 horsepower. Standard amenities across the board include anti-lock brakes, the OneStar communication system, aluminum wheels, keyless entry remote, and XM radio. The optional Luxury Packages adds heated seats, upgraded power seats, a heated steering wheel, turn signal mirrors, and a memory function to both the seats and mirrors. Other options on the Lucerne include unique exterior paint choices, heated and cooled seats, a power glass moonroof, and a Lane Departure Warning System. The Buick Lucerne CXS was introduced in 2006 and a redesign is expected in 2011.
