Overview

The GMC Acadia SLE 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/14/2008. For 2008 the GMC Acadia returns available in two trims, SLE and SLT; in 2WD and AWD configurations. The Acadia is powered by a 3.6L 275-hp V6 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities include keyless remote entry, hands-free OnStar communication system, tinted glass, heated mirrors, roof rails and a rear spoiler. The Acadia has a several optional packages to chose from, one of which is the Convenience Package offering a remote control engine start and rear parking sensors. The SLT has an optional Luxury Package that includes a powered moon roof with powered rear panel, and ultra bright machined aluminum wheels. Two new colors have been added for 2008: Dark Crimson and Platinum Ice Tri-Coat. The GMC Acadia SLE 2WD was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
