Overview

The 2008 Rogue is Nissan's newest entry to the ever growing crossover segment. Aimed competitively at CR-V and RAV4 buyers, the Rogue is expected to be available in S and SL trims, with either 2WD or AWD. Rogue will be powered by a 170hp 2.5L engine mated with a continuously variable automatic transmission (dubbed Xtronic by Nissan). More sporty performance will be achieved through the paddle shifter which allows for manual-type shifting while driving. Safety features on the Rogue will include electronic stability control, ABS brakes, dual front row and side-impact airbags (along with head curtain airbags for both rows). Other notable features include available smart key ignition system, Bluetooth compatibility and Foldable Rear Cargo Organizer.
