Overview

The S6, the high-performance version of the A6, returns for 2008 available in sedan or Avant wagon. Powered by a 5.2L V10 engine, the S6 boasts 435 horsepower and can be fitted with six-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission. "S" model upgrades include a sportier suspension, unique ground effects, and performance tires. Standard luxury amenities across the board include automatic climate control, aluminum alloy wheels, an alarm system, keyless entry remote, leather seats, and a 6-disc CD changer. Available options on the S6 include a DVD-based navigation system, a rear power sunshade, heated rear seats, and rear side impact airbags, a rear parking assist system, and several premium option packages.
