Overview
The Jaguar XKR last had a manufacturer update on 09/01/2007. Redesigned last year, the Jaguar XK Series returns for 2008 available in 2+2 coupe and convertible bodystyles and two trims: XK and XKR. The XK is powered by a 300 horsepower 4.2L V8 engine, while the XKR receives a supercharged version of the 4.2L V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed sequential shift automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddles that allow for manual shifting. Standard features on the XK include keyless entry and engine start, vehicle navigation system, dynamic stability control, rear parking sensors, self-leveling HID headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Jaguar XKR was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
