Overview

The Chevrolet Aveo5 LS last had a manufacturer update on 05/02/2008. The Chevrolet Aveo was redesigned in 2007 and returns for 2008 with the sedan available in LS and LT trims and the hatchback , available in LS and SVM trims. All models are powered by a 103 horsepower 1.6L four-cylinder engine that claims a mileage rating of 35 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in the city (with five-speed manual transmission). The engine is mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment on all models include air conditioning, day time running lights, and tire pressure monitoring system. Available upgrades include a six-disc CD changer, a power sunroof, heated outside mirrors, and steering wheel-mounted controls. The Chevrolet Aveo5 LS was introduced in 2004 and a redesign is expected in 2010.
