Overview

The Scion xD (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 05/01/2008. All new for 2008, the xD hatchback enters the Scion line-up replacing the previous generation xA model. Based on the Yaris platform, the new xD features a 128hp engine and is available with a manual or automatic transmission. Engineers strived to design a vehicle that provided better handling through use of a short, wide frame. As with other Scion models, the xD comes equipped "mono spec" so consumers may select from a number of options to customize the vehicle's interior and exterior to suit their personal preferences. Standard features on the xD include a 160-watt Pioneer audio system with iPod connectivity (a navigation system is a new option for 2008), remote keyless entry, tire pressure mentoring system and front seat-mounted airbags. The Scion xD (Manual) was introduced in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
