Overview
The Mercury Grand Marquis GS last had a manufacturer update on 03/17/2008. For 2008, the Mercury Grand Marquis returns available in two trims: GS and LS. Both trims are powered by a 4.6L 224-hp V8 engine, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities include all power conveniences, keyless remote entry, and tire pressure monitor. The LS adds to the standard list: garage door opener, heated mirrors, and power adjustable seats and pedals. A Palm Beach Edition Package is available in the LS, offering satin applique on instrument and door trim panels, unique badging, dual heated mirrors, front side impact air bag restraint system, cashmere leather seats with Palm Beach Logo, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and nine-spoke chrome wheels. The Mercury Grand Marquis GS saw minor changes in 1998, and is scheduled to be retired in 2011.
