Overview

The Jaguar S-Type 4.2L last had a manufacturer update on 04/20/2007. Jaguar's sports sedan returns for 2008 available in three trims: 3.0L, 4.2L, and R. The S-Type features three engines, the 235-hp 3.0L V6, the 300-hp 4.2L V8, and the supercharged 4.2L V8 boasting 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Luxury amenities include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity, heated leather seats, a power glass moonroof, and burl walnut veneer interior trim. Available options include a DVD-based navigation system, HID headlights, front parking sensors, unique alloy wheels, and several interior trim packages. The Jaguar S-Type 4.2L was introduced in 2000 and a redesign is expected in 2009.
