Overview

The Ford Taurus SEL AWD last had a manufacturer update on 03/17/2008. After being on a year hiatus, the Ford Taurus returns for 2008 with many upgrades including a new exterior styling. The Taurus is available in four trims: SEL and Limited, in both FWD and AWD configurations. All Taurus models are powered by a 3.5L 260hp V6 engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Joining a long list of standard features includes all power conveniences, drivers information center, and keyless remote entry. The Limited models also add as standard heated seats, heated mirrors, and memory settings for drivers seat and outside mirrors. Safety features include trunk entrapment release, tire pressure monitor, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. The Ford Taurus SEL AWD was introduced in 2005, and minor changes are expected in 2010.
