Overview
The Pontiac Grand Prix GXP last had a manufacturer update on 01/18/2008. The 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix is available in two trims: Base and GXP. The Base model is equipped with a 200 hp 3.8L V6 engine while the GXP receives a 5.3L V8 that generates 303 hp and 323 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. Standard features include keyless remote entry system, OnStar communications system, cruise control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Available options include head curtain side-impact airbags, an XM satellite radio, power glass moonroof, and DVD-based vehicle navigation system. A Special Edition Package is available on the Base model and includes stainless steel dual exhaust system, color-keyed grille, and sport aluminum wheels with P225/55HR17 Tires. The Pontiac Grand Prix GXP was last redesigned in 2004 and is scheduled to be retired in 2008.
