Overview
Hyundai introduces a brand new midsize crossover to the 2007 line-up, the Veracruz. Available models include GLS, SE, and Limited, each offered in FWD or AWD versions. The Veracruz, which is built on a stretched Santa Fe platform, is powered by a 260-hp 3.8L V6 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include a six airbag system, ABS brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The optional Premium Package adds leather heated seats, a power glass moonroof, and an Infiniti sound system with a six-disc CD changer. Other options on the Veracruz include a rear entertainment system, a back-up warning system, hidden third row seating, wheel locks, and a cargo tray.
