Overview
The BMW 550 i last had a manufacturer update on 06/01/2008. The BMW 5-Series returns for 2008 with exterior and interior enhancements. The exterior receives new clear glass and chrome headlights, side-sills, and grille. The interior redesign receives pearl glass chrome, twin-tone door panels, and additional storage. The 5-Series comes available in several trims, including 528 i and xi sedan, 535 i, xi sedan and xi wagon, and 550 i sedan. The 528 and 535 are powered by a 3.0L V6 engine, while the 550 comes with a 4.8L V8 engine. Standard features across the board include BMW assist communication system, on-board computer, keyless remote entry, and heated mirrors. Optional features include keyless start, night vision, heated seats, and voice activated navigation system. The BMW 550 i was last redesigned in 2004; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
