The Ford F450 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat 2WD DRW last had a manufacturer update on 03/01/2008. For 2008, Ford introduces the all-new F450 Crew Cab to its heavy-duty truck line-up. Upon introduction, the F450 will be available in several trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch, all available in 2WD or 4WD configurations. All models are powered by the new 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel engine, which boasts 350 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Maximum payload is more than 6,000 pounds, while the towing capacity tops out at around 24,000 pounds. To meet the ever-increasing needs of towing, Ford also equipped the F450 with a new rear leaf-spring suspension for a tight turning radius. Other unique features include the TowCommand System, a TorqShift transmission, and an integrated tailgate step.
