Overview
The GMC Sierra 2500 HD Extended Cab SLT 2WD Long Bed last had a manufacturer update on 04/23/2007. The all-new 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD is available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: Regular Cab, Extended Cab, or Crew Cab bodystyles, short or long bed lengths, three trims levels: Work Truck, SLE, and SLT, and 2WD or 4WD drivetrain configurations. The Sierra is built on GM's new full-size truck platform with a redesigned exterior as well as an updated interior. Choices of engines include a new 353 horsepower Gen IV Vortec 6.0L V8 and a Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 that generates 365 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. All engine choices are mated to an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission. New safety features include safety belt pretensioners that activate during a front or rear-end crash. The GMC Sierra 2500 HD Extended Cab SLT 2WD Long Bed was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
