Overview
The GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab Work Truck 2WD Long Bed last had a manufacturer update on 05/15/2007. The all-new 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab is available in eight models: Work Truck and SLE trims in either 2WD or 4WD and short bed or long bed configurations. The Sierra is built on GM's new full-size truck platform with a redesigned exterior as well as an updated interior. Choices of engines include a 195 horsepower 4.3L V-6, a 295 horsepower 4.8L V8 , and a 5.3L V8 that generates 315 horsepower and 388 lb-ft of torque (also available in a Flex Fuel version). All engine choices are mated to an electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. New safety features include safety belt pretensioners that activate during a rear-end crash and optional roof-mounted head curtain side air bags. The GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab Work Truck 2WD Long Bed was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
