Overview
The GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab SLE 2WD Standard Bed last had a manufacturer update on 05/15/2007. The all-new 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab is available in three trims: Work Truck, SLE and SLT trim in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The Sierra is built on GM's new full-size truck platform with a redesigned exterior as well as an updated interior. Choices of engines include a 195 horsepower 4.3L V-6, a 295 horsepower 4.8L V8 , a 315 horsepower 5.3L V8 (also available in a Flex Fuel version), and a 367 horsepower 6.0L high-output V8 engine. All engine choices are mated to an electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. New safety features include safety belt pretensioners that activate during a rear-end crash, optional roof-mounted head curtain side air bags, and optional StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with rollover mitigation technology. The GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab SLE 2WD Standard Bed was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
