Overview

The Sorento enters 2007 with increased power, enhanced safety, and a redesigned exterior. Kia's midsize utility is available in either 2WD or 4WD and in three trim levels: base, LX, and EX. LX Sport and EX Luxury Packages are also available to upgrade the trims. All models are powered by the new 262-hp 3.8L V6 engine matted to five-speed automatic Sportmatic transmission. The Sorento exterior receives revisions to the front headlights, bumpers, moldings, grille, and front fascia. New 16-inch and 17-inch wheel designs are also now being offered. This five-passenger utility boasts a larger list of safety features for this year, including dual-stage front airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, ABS disc brakes, traction control, and a tire-pressure monitoring system.
