Overview

The all-new 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander is available in three trims: ES, LS and XLS. The LS and XLS are available in either 2WD or AWD configurations. The larger Outlander is built on a new platform that will also be shared with the next-generation Lancer and Lancer Evolution models. All models are powered by a new 220 horsepower 3.0L aluminum MIVEC V6 engine mated to a six-speed Sportronic automatic transmission. Also new is a flap-fold tailgate for easy loading and it can also serve as a seat for outdoor activities, with a capacity of 440 lbs. The XLS models come equipped with a standard stowable compact third row seat that folds flat into the floor when not needed. Standard features on all models include power windows, locks and mirrors, remote keyless entry, curtain side air bags, and Active Skid and Traction Control (ASTC).
