Overview

GMC introduces its first crossover to the US market in 2007, available in either 2WD or AWD configurations, and in two trims, SLE and SLT. The Acadia is powered by a 275-hp 3.6L V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities on this eight-passenger utility include a voice-activated navigation system, OnStar Directions and Connections (first year), dual exhaust with chrome tips, rear spoiler, 18-inch wheels, and AM/FM stereo with CD and MP3 player. Smart Slide technology is utilized on second-row seating, allowing easy access to the third row. Several safety features are equipped standard on the Acadia, such as a StabiliTrak stability control system, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, and a six airbag restraint system.
