Overview
The Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged last had a manufacturer update on 09/01/2006. The Range Rover returns for 2007 with a more room and added technology. Land Rover's base luxury SUV, badged HSE, is powered 300-hp 4.4L V8 coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Range Rover Supercharged boasts a 4.2L supercharged V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Available later this year is the all-new TDV8 diesel engine, which has an improved 0-60 time, while still maintaining the same fuel economy of the previous diesel engine. New features for 2007 include the Terrain Response system, an electronic park brake, and the electronic rear 'e' differential. The Range Rover interior gains additional storage and cabin room as well. Also new are the optional cooled front seats. The Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged was last redesigned in 2003; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
