Overview

The Ford Edge SEL Plus 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/30/2007. For 2007, Ford introduces a new midsize utility to the crossover market: the Edge. Available in either 2WD or intelligent AWD configurations, the Edge is powered by a 265-hp 3.5L V6 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. Trim levels choices include base, SEL, and SEL Plus. Unique features on the Edge include console laptop storage, a panoramic Vista Roof, and a MP3 player input jack. Safety is enhanced my adding standard Advance Trac traction control with anti-roll technology, side-impact airbags, and a Safety Canopy. Available options on the Edge include heated seats, a DVD navigation system, premium wheels, a cargo management system, a rear entertainment system, and rear parking sensors. The Ford Edge SEL Plus 2WD was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
