Overview
The Volkswagen Passat (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 03/16/2007. Redesigned in 2006, the 2007 Volkswagen Passat sedan returns with little change. It is available in four trims: Base, 2.0T, 2.0T Wolfsburg Edition, and 3.6. The 3.6 is available in a for 4MOTION model that adds full-time four-wheel-drive. The standard powertrain on the Base and 2.0T models is a 2.0L Turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine generating 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. The 3.6 models receive a 3.6L V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. There are two transmissions available, a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic with Tiptronic controls, depending on your engine choice. Standard safety features include four wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system, side curtain airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Volkswagen Passat (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
