Overview
Toyota's pickup truck returns for 2007 with numerous enhancements, including new seat and audio features, as well as other interior upgrades. The Tacoma is delivered in three different bodystyles, Regular Cab, Access Cab, and Double Cab, and in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Engine choices include a 159-hp 2.7L four-cylinder or a 236-hp 4.0L V6. The PreRunner is also available, which is a 2WD model with the look and feel of a 4WD. Rounding off the list of models is the X-Runner, which is a sports car-like concept-truck. All Tacoma's receive new larger seats for this year, while all Access Cab Sport trims add the "walk-in" memory seat feature. Other changes include a redesigned audio unit, a new two-tone instrument panel, and added chrome trim. The Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab PreRunner 2WD (Manual) was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
