Overview

The Jaguar XJ returns for 2007 offered in five trims: XJ8, XJ8L, Vanden Plas, XJR, and Super V8. The XJ8, XJ8 L, and Vanden Plas feature a 300 horsepower 4.2L V8 engine while the powerful XJR and Super V8 are equipped with a supercharged version of the 4.2L V8 and produces 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment on all models includes keyless remote entry, power moonroof, tire pressure monitor, and an automatic leveling suspension system. A navigation system, heated steering wheel, front parking sensors, and an Alpine AM/FM stereo with a six-disc in-dash CD changer are optional features on XJ8 and XJ8 L models. Optional packages on the Vanden Plas and XJR include the Multimedia Package and the Warm Climate Package.
