Overview
The Ford Fusion SE V6 AWD last had a manufacturer update on 04/30/2007. Ford's midsize sedan enters 2007 with only a few changes, returning in five trims: S, SE, SE V6, SEL, and SEL V6. The Fusion is powered by either a 160-hp 2.3L I-4 engine or a 3.0L V6 engine that produces 221 horsepower and 205 lb-ft of torque. Equipment lists have been expanded for this year, giving SE models 16-inch aluminum wheels, fog lights, and a six-disc CD change. SEL trims now add heated mirrors, an electrochromatic rearview mirror, a compass, and automatic headlights. And for the first time, all models receive standard front seat side airbags, side-impact air curtains, and an alarm system. A new optional all-wheel drive system can also be added to the Fusion. Other options include a satellite radio, a navigation system, and a rear spoiler. SE AWD and SEL AWD trims will be added later in the model year. The Ford Fusion SE V6 AWD was introduced in 2006, and minor changes are expected in 2010.
