Overview
The Dodge Nitro R/T 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 05/23/2007. Dodge introduces the Nitro, an all-new mid-size SUV, to its 2007 line-up. Available trims include Base, SLT, and R/T, each offered in 2WD or 4WD configurations. The base and SLT are powered by a 210-hp 3.7L V6 engine, while the top of the line R/T boasts a 255-hp 4.0L V6 engine. Standard features across the board include anti-lock brakes, side-impact airbags, and an electronic stability program. The higher trims add the Load n Go cargo floor feature, which slides 18 inches to provide easy loading and unloading of heavy cargo of up to 400 pounds. Available options on the Nitro include a DVD navigation system, a rear seat entertainment system, the UConnect communication system, a premium stereo with MP3 capability, and a satellite radio. The Dodge Nitro R/T 2WD was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
