Overview

The Volkswagen Jetta (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 03/16/2007. Redesigned in 2006, the 2007 Volkswagen Jetta returns with little change. It is available in five sedan trims: base, 2.5, Wolfsburg Edition, 2.0T, and GLI. The standard powertrain on the base and 2.5 models is a 2.5-liter in-line five-cylinder engine that produces150 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0T and GLI are equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine that generates 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual transmission (available on base and 2.5 models), a six-speed manual transmission (available on 2.0T and GLI models), and a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic shift control (available on all models). Some of the optional features available include rear side impact air bags, upgraded alloy wheels, and ground effects kit.
