Overview
The Volkswagen Jetta (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 03/16/2007. Redesigned in 2006, the 2007 Volkswagen Jetta returns with little change. It is available in five sedan trims: base, 2.5, Wolfsburg Edition, 2.0T, and GLI. The standard powertrain on the base and 2.5 models is a 2.5-liter in-line five-cylinder engine that produces150 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0T and GLI are equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine that generates 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual transmission (available on base and 2.5 models), a six-speed manual transmission (available on 2.0T and GLI models), and a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic shift control (available on all models). Some of the optional features available include rear side impact air bags, upgraded alloy wheels, and ground effects kit. The Volkswagen Jetta (Auto) was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
