Overview

The Saab 9-5 Aero last had a manufacturer update on 05/25/2007. The Saab 9-5 returns for 2007 with minimal change. It remains available in two models: Sedan and SportCombi wagon. The standard powertrain consist of a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 260 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque mated to a five-speed manual transmission. A five-speed Sentronic automatic transmission is also available. Updates for this model year include a new Aero Package and an Anniversary Special Edition that will be available midyear. The Aero Package replaces last years Sport Package and includes a sport chassis, sport seats, metallic interior trim, and Aero badging. A Visibility Package is available on both models and includes xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and rear parking assist. The Saab 9-5 Aero saw minor changes in 2007, and is expected to be redesigned in 2010.
