Overview
The Chevrolet Express 1500 Passenger AWD last had a manufacturer update on 03/26/2007. Chevy's full-size van returns for 2007 with no major changes. The Express Passenger Van is again available in four models: an 8-passenger 1500 RWD or AWD, as well as a 12-passenger 3500 Regular or Extended wheelbase. Engine choices include a 4.3L V6, a 295-hp 5.3L V8, or a 6.0L V8 producing 300 horsepower. A four-speed automatic transmission with Tow/Haul mode completes the powertrain. Other standard equipment include ABS brakes, an oil life monitor, folding review mirrors, swing-out rear doors, and a stainless steel exhaust system. The Express also features several available options, such as a rear locking differential, trailering equipment, power convenience features, aluminum wheels, and an upgraded stereo system with a six-disc CD changer.
