Overview

Audi's largest luxury sedan enters 2007 with several revisions, returning in three trims: Base, L, and L W12. The A8 receives a new more powerful engine in the 4.2L V8, which now boasts 350 horsepower and 325 lbs-ft of torque. The W12 trim trumps that power by equipping a 6.0L V12 engine that results in 450 horsepower. Changes for this year include new front and rear headrests, a more powerful Bose surround sound system, a standard driver information system, a MP3 capable CD changer, and an expanded list of options. A full leather upgrade is now available on A8 L models, while W12 models obtain a new 20-inch wheel option. Two new exterior colors are also available, Ibis White and Phantom Black.
