Overview

The Nissan Maxima SL last had a manufacturer update on 04/17/2007. The Maxima returns for 2007 with a redesigned exterior and interior. The exterior changes include a new front grille, hood, bumper, and headlights; while the interior includes a redesigned instrument panel adding Fine Vision Meter gauge for better readability. The Maxima is still available in two trims, SE and SL. Both models are powered by a 3.5L, 255-hp, V6 engine, mated to a CVT transmission. Standard features across the board include keyless remote entry, alarm system, and tire pressure monitor. Optional features include moonroof, satellite radio, and Bluetooth hand-free phone system. An Elite Package is available, offering a rear center console, additional power outlet, heated rear seats, rear sun shade, and the Preferred Package. The Nissan Maxima SL saw minor changes in 2007, and is expected to be redesigned in 2009.
