Overview
The Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab LT 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 03/26/2007. For 2007, the Chevy Colorado returns with a few minor changes. Some of the changes include the addition of two new engines and three new exterior colors: Pace Blue, Imperial Blue Metallic, and Deep Ruby Metallic. Extended Cab versions are available in four models: LS or LT trim, in either 2WD or 4WD configuration. A new 2.9L 185 horsepower in-line four-cylinder engine is standard on all models while a new 3.7L in-line five-cylinder engine, generating 242 hp and 242 lb-ft of torque, is available as an option. All engines are mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. Head curtain side-impact air bags with passenger sensing air bag cut-off system are available on all models as a safety upgrade. The Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab LT 2WD was introduced in 2004; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
