Overview
The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 last had a manufacturer update on 04/11/2007. The 2007 Mustang is offered in two bodystyles and five trims: Deluxe, Premium, GT Deluxe, GT Premium, and Shelby GT500 in either coupe or convertible bodystyles. The Deluxe and Premium models come with a 4.0L V6 engine while the GT Deluxe and GT Premium are equipped with a 300 horsepower 4.6L V8 engine. Both engines are paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission. The Shelby GT500 is powered by a 475-horsepower supercharged 5.4L V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Shelby GT500 is also equipped with a race-tuned suspension system and four piston Brembo brakes. Standard features on all models include powered windows, door locks, CD player, and keyless entry. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 was last redesigned in 2005, with minor changes expected again in 2010.
