Overview

The Saturn ION 2 Quad Coupe (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 03/06/2007. The ION returns for 2007 again available in either sedan or quad coupe bodystyles and in three trims: 2, 3, and Red Line (quad coupe only). Both the ION 2 and ION 3 are equipped with a 2.2L I-4 engine, while the ION 3 has the optional 175-hp 2.4L I-4 engine available. The sportier Red Line boasts a supercharged 2.0L engine producing 205 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. The Red Line also features the Sport Appearance Packages, which adds sport bumpers, a chrome exhaust, unique fog lights, and rocker panel moldings. The optional Competition Package can also be selected, which includes a limited slip axle, a boost gauge, and painted aluminum wheels. The Saturn ION 2 Quad Coupe (Auto) was introduced in 2003 and is scheduled to be retired in 2007.
