The F250 returns for 2007 available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: 2WD or 4WD configurations, Regular Cab, SuperCab, or Crew Cab bodystyles, short or long bed lengths, and five trim levels, XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and limited edition Harley-Davidson. Engine choices include a 5.4L Triton V8, a Power Stroke 6.0L turbo diesel V8, and the 6.8L Triton V10 that generates 362 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Ford's TorqShift heavy-duty five-speed automatic transmission is offered on all engine choices along side the standard six-speed manual transmission. The available TowCommand System includes an electronic trailer brake controller that is tied in to the truck's anti-lock braking system and activates when it detects poor traction. The Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat 2WD Long Bed saw minor changes in 2005, and is expected to be redesigned in 2008.
