Overview

The 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab returns for 2007 rebadged as the Silverado Classic 1500 Extended Cab. It remains available in several models: Work Truck, LS, LT, and Hybrid trims in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. Available engines include the standard 4.8L V8, 5.3L gas, flex fuel, or Hybrid V8, and 6.0L high-output V8, all coupled with a four-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger airbags, and daytime running lights. Several options are available, including power glass moonroof, XM Satellite Radio, and OnStar Communications system. A rear seat entertainment system with DVD player and LCD screen is also available on models.
