Overview

The Chevrolet Silverado Classic 1500 Crew Cab LS 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 01/22/2007. The 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab returns for 2007 rebadged as the Silverado Classic 1500 Crew Cab. It remains available in four models: LS and LT trims in both 2WD or 4WD configurations. All LS models are equipped with a 4.8L mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. LT models come with a choice of either a standard 5.3L flex fuel V8 or a 6.0L high-output V8 engine, both again coupled with a four-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger airbags, and daytime running lights. Several options are available, including power glass moonroof, XM Satellite Radio, and OnStar Communications system. A rear seat entertainment system with DVD player and LCD screen is also available on models. The Chevrolet Silverado Classic 1500 Crew Cab LS 2WD saw minor changes in 2003, and is expected to be redesigned in 2008.
