Overview
The Volkswagen Rabbit (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 03/16/2007. For 2007, the Rabbit returns available in two or four door hatchback bodystyles. The base engine is a 2.5L inline five-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. A Partial Zero Emissions version is also available in some states at no extra charge. Both engines are mated to either five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic shift control. Standard equipment on all models includes anti-lock brakes, a CD player, keyless entry remote, cruise control, and power convenience features. Optional features offered on the Rabbit include an Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP), a six-disc CD changer, a tire pressure monitoring system, rear side impact air bags, and a choice of two different upgraded alloy wheels. The Volkswagen Rabbit (Manual) was introduced in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
