Overview

The Volkswagen GTI 2.0T (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 03/16/2007. Redesigned in 2006, the 2007 Volkswagen GTI returns with little change. It is available in a single 2.0T trim and choice of two door or four door hatchback bodystyles. The standard engine on all models is a 2.0L turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine that generates 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic shift control. Standard features on the GTI include 17-inch alloy wheels, an Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP), heated bucket seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, and dual heated power mirrors with turn signals. Optional features include a vehicle navigation system and a Package #1 that adds a power sunroof and a premium sound system. The Volkswagen GTI 2.0T (Manual) was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
