Overview

The Volvo V70 R last had a manufacturer update on 09/25/2006. Volvo's near luxury wagon enters 2007 with several key changes, returning in four trims: 2.4, 2.5T, R, and XC70. New standard equipment on all V70's includes outside mirrors with turn integrated signals, a tire pressure monitoring system, and Dynamic Stability Traction Control (DSTC). Models receive interior appointment enhancements, a simplified package and option structure, and various wheel and tire upgrades. For 2007, the dual screen rear entertainment system is available as a stand alone option. Other available options include bi-xenon headlights, a navigation system, an audio amplifier, a satellite radio, and a six-disc CD changer. Metallic paint can also be selected for an additional charge. The Volvo V70 R was last redesigned in 2001 and the next major change is expected in 2008.
